Write Way Up @ Leicester YMCA

Fay/ Faith of Poetry Kapow! will be taking part in this specially-commissioned performance in association with Apples & Snakes, Writing East Midlands, Leicester Libraries, Museums Libraries Archives (who will be supplying the “objects” around which the pieces revolve), Arts Council England, Renaissance East Midlands, the Literature Network, WORD!, 2FunkyArts, and the Special Olympics.
Seven spoken word performers will be using living archive museum pieces to formulate performance pieces exploring the nature of history, language and storytelling.
