Allographic has three forms of live event – “Other Voices”, open mic with featured guests every 4th Sunday of the month; “Allographic presents…”, a loose series of events with bigger names from the spoken word scene, and a burgeoning set of workshops for aspirant poets, storytellers, and other writers and performers.

Attendees of the workshop will get free entry to the Other Voices show that evening if they get up and perform, otherwise you get the concession rate.

Monkey Around. Have you ever thought about writing and performing for children? Come and explore your silly side with children’s poet (and performing monkey) Joshua Seigal. Josh will attempt to prove to you that adults, deep down, are just king-sized kids.

Joshua Seigal writes and performs for both adults and children. In 2012 he performed the only children’s poetry show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and is taking a new children’s poetry show up to Edinburgh in 2013. He regularly visits schools, where he performs his poetry and runs workshops, and has done work with organisations such as the Poetry Society and Apples and Snakes. In the evenings he talks at adults at spoken word and comedy nights.
