An Evening With The Bard And Friends

Stony Live, Stony Stratford’s annual festival of music and the arts, returns once again from 1st to 9th June to bring a feast of culture and creativity, serving the community with the best entertainment the community can offer.
They say poetry is the oldest art-form. Not to be confused with the oldest profession. Both involve sharing one’s deepest vulnerabilities in an intimate exchange with strangers, but there is no money in poetry. An Evening With The Bard And Friends is a showcase of the finest performance poetry that money can’t buy, bringing together the best spoken word performers in the business to share their humour, irreverence, sincerity and insight, for love but no money. This is the third year that The Bard Of Stony Stratford has delivered a live poetry event in Stony Live.

Featuring Fay Roberts, Danni Antagonist, Ian McEwen and more tbc – hosted by Stephen Hobbs.

The Bard himself is, of course, Mr. Richard Frost. 🙂
