Strawberry Slam 2017

Are you up for some competitive spoken word action?! Fancy a fabulous spoken word spectacular?
We have just the gig for you – a tent, in a field, a stage, a microphone, some poets, some judges, and a whole lot of awesome.
Taking place in the Wild Strawberries Festival Stage, as part of the Eastern Bloco area of the Strawberry Fair 2015 – Down By The River (Official Event), and in association with Hammer & Tongue Cambridge, this will be a chance for one lucky soul to win a place in the Hammer & Tongue Cambridge Regional Final (your last chance this season), and the chance for many other fortunate people to revel in some of the finest spoken word in the region. In a very handsome tent.
Oh, and it’s FREE.

Earlier, we’ll have a day of gorgeous poetry-and-music: Spoken Word & Music Open Mic and Features at Strawberry Fair, 12-7pm.
After the slam is over, it’ll be time for the glorious chaos of the Strawberry Jam 2017! 😀
