Great Linford Waterside Festival

Placeholder for the fabulous local festival of music, poetry, rides, stalls, randoms, trees, art, dancing dogs, tiny cheerleaders, friends, fun, frolics and beer. Lots of beer.
Monkey Kettle enterprises run an “alternative” performance stage on the Saturday and Sunday and they’re looking for poets on both those days – watch this space!

“Organised and run entirely by volunteers, this not-for-profit festival is put together every year with the help and assistance of various local bodies and organisations. We try very hard to make sure the festival remains free for people to attend, although rising costs from suppliers and shrinking grant assistance means we have to find ways to sustain the festival. This year we are continuing with a nominal parking charge for using our manned car parks. On the Saturday and Sunday, there will be a charge of £2 per car per day – but admission to the event itself remains free. We apologise if this mars you enjoyment of the day in any way; if you have alternative methods for us to raise funds the please don’t hesitate to contact the committee!”
