Show & Tell 2

After the success of of our first ‘Show & Tell’ variety show on the 20th November, Twisted Willow Theatre are planning the next one! We are booked at the Portland Arms on Tuesday 29th of January 2013 to bring you another eclectic mix of acts, varying from theatre and music to comedy and poetry and much much more!

Show & Tell- Tuesday 20th November 2012

We are currently looking for acts to perform at the next Show and Tell. Join us for an opportunity to flex your creative muscles and showcase your talents to other performers and the general public. We welcome people from all disciplines and skill levels to come and perform. Your act could be any of the following:

-A Monalogue
-A Dualogue
-A Short Scene from a Play
-A Poetry Reading
-Performance Poetry
-Stand-up Comedy
-Improv Comedy
-A Lecture or Talk
-A Live Art Piece
-A Circus Skills Performance
-A Musical Performance
-A Martial Arts Demonstration
-Burlesque
-Magic
Or indeed almost anything you can think of!
If you would like to perform get practicing and make sure you register by letting us know beforehand what you are going to perform and a rough length of your piece. Each act could be anywhere from 5 minutes long to twenty (but we advise that it is no longer than that).

If you don’t want to perform, that’s fine, grab some friends and come down and watch an evening of fantastic performances. Entry is a donation of £2. A portion of proceeds will go Arts and Minds, a Cambridge based charity that aims to include people of all ages, with all forms of mental illness and learning disabilities, in therapeutic arts-related activities.
