Speakeasy Garden Party

After a brilliant year of sold-out events and memorable performances, it’s time to close out another year of spoken word with our final event of the year, the Speakeasy Garden Party 2016!
There will be strawberries and cream, there will be Pimms and lemonade, and, most importantly, there will be poetry!
The event will be very informal (and completely free), and as always, anyone can sign up to read 3 minutes of their own poetry in the open slam! Whether you’re a regular slammer or want to give it a go before summer arrives, we’d love to have you — just post on the event or send me a message (pt361).
We are sponsored by CADS (Christ’s Amateur Dramatics Society) and thanks to them the event will be taking place in the gorgeous Christ’s College Fellow’s Garden. Have a drink, have a listen, if you want to perform get up and speak – it’s easy!
