Actress Nell James performs this extract, telling Albert’s final chapter through the stories of seven other clowns: from Shakespeare’s Feste to Justin Butcher’s Scaramouche Jones via Sarah Bernhardt, Charlie Chaplin, and the Mikado’s Koko, of course.
